Finding Your Messages

You've received a notification, now what?

So you've got your listing up and running, and now you have received an email notification saying that you have a new enquiry! Congratulations, but what does this mean, and what do you do now?

These messages are from those interested in your psychologist profile, and are potential new clients. We manually screen these to ensure they are of the highest quality, to ensure the best chance of securing some new business for you. This article is a step-by-step guide to explain to you how to find and keep track of your messages.

1. Log in

Log in to your dashboard. You can also view your messages on your mobile phone, in addition to your laptop, desktop or tablet computer. On your mobile phone, a small silhouette will appear in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

2. Click on 'Messages'

On your mobile phone, click on the small silhouette in the bottom left hand corner of the screen to access the menu. On all other devices, you will see this menu on the left hand side of the screen, on your dashboard. You will see 'Messages' in this menu. If you have any unread messages or notifications, you may see a number next to this. Click on 'Messages', and underneath it there will be another link - 'Manage Enquiries'. Click on this link.

3. Select the message you wish to view

Find the message that you wish to view, and then click 'View Details'. Then click 'Accept Lead'. Please note that you will only be able to view your messages if you have an active PsychFinder subscription - you can view our membership plans here.

4. Get in touch!

Now that you have read your message, you can get in touch with your potential new client using the contact details that she or he has provided.
